Terraform

Terraform is a cloud-centric multi-provider configuration manager. This tool allows you to configure ‘DNS as code’ infrastructure to sync record and zone configurations across multiple DNS providers. It makes it possible to store the entire configuration and deployment operation for a DNS infrastructure in one source of truth file.

If you’re familiar with Terraform and you want to get started using Terraform with the NS1 provider, head over to Terraform’s documentation page on the NS1 provider here.

If Terraform is a new tool in your arsenal, you’ll probably want to check out some of their example configurations along with their in-depth documentation here.

Before you can start effectively working with the NS1 Provider with Terraform, you’ll need to understand NS1 API data structures and concepts. Check our our API documentation here.
